ANALYSIS

Intro

By looking at numbers and data we can find value in patterns and trends. Analysis of information allows us to plan and develop, on both a personal and professional level.

Prior Knowledge & Skills

Working with numbers. Understanding patterns. Creating graphs. Any branch of mathematics that allows us to view data in different, meaningful ways. A grasp of language and putting thoughts to paper.

Progression

There is value in knowing the difference between minimum and maximum. Working out averages and understanding when one type is more representative than the other. Exploring trends and visualisations of data and making sense of them. Putting our thoughts and considerations into reasoned argument to create some conclusion.

Uses

By analysing data we make sense of the world around us. Professionals are able to draw conclusion and make judgement.
