Expressing ourselves Simply

Working with factors: comes down to mathematically expressing ourselves in a simpler way. This is a math skill that assists us with further maths. It is a building block to aid us with our understanding of maths and as such is a building block to understanding our world around us.

We do need to understand basic algebraic notation and be good with multiplication/ division/ multiples/ and factors.

Sometimes we just need to find a common factor.

Sometimes we need to find prime factors to resolve a number into its basic form or composition.

Sometimes we need to break a difficult expression into something more managable.
